Happy Spring!
Thanks to everyone who made the trip to Denison Texas. Jim Esbenshade along with his family and employees opened Massey World and his farm for tours. Jim’s Massey collection is an impressive lineup of vintage Massey Ferguson tractors and equipment it was a must see. Thank you Jim for hosting the MMCI winter show.
Putting together a show takes a great deal of time, effort, and dedication. I would like to sincerely thank Mike and Donna Zimmer, Clint and Kelly Stamm who contributed to making the winter show such a success. Your hard work, commitment, and support have not gone unnoticed, and it because of members like you that the event came together so well.
Keep your eye on your mailbox! Ballots for voting on the Board od Directors will be sent out beginning of May. There will be three open positions for the board, and we currently have three candidates running. I encourage everyone to vote or feel free to write in the name of someone you believe would be a strong addition to the board. Along with the ballot, the board is also asking members to review the proposed updates to the current bylaws and vote. Your participation is important and appreciated.
Scholarship applications are due by May 30. This year two, $2000 awards will be given out. Don’t miss this opportunity to apply. Go to www.minneapolismolinecollectors.org for more information.
The MMCI summer show is fast approaching! Join us from August 15 – 17 2025, in Oakley Michigan for a weekend celebrating. Hope to see you all there!
MMCI President,
Jay Groskreutz
