DALE WESTBROOK
Hello there, I am Dale Westbrook and I have accepted the nomination to be considered for your board of directors.
First a little about myself. I am from Newton, Iowa, 2 miles west of town, along Interstate 80 — the Oliver and Moline combine on south side of Interstate. I operate a robot welder overnight at a local factory. For the past 26 years I have been carrying on the family farming operations with my brother David. We are honored to receive the Heritage Farm status for a farm staying in the family for 150 years.
Our dad had Oliver tractors, and a few MM implements as we grew up. Most of my early education in MM tractors came thru collecting farm toys. I would discover a new model and when dad was at the dealer’s I would ask about it and compare it to the Oliver equivalent.
Over the years I have joined several tractor clubs. Besides the MMCI and HPOCA, I have served on the boards of the Red Rock Threshers and the Mid Iowa Antique Power Association. It is a great joy to get a tractor ready for a plow day, or corn picking and shelling day.
I agreed to be nominated, first off, to be more active with the MMCI. We all do what we can to share the MM history with newcomers and the next generation. It is great to see all the folks taking the time to produce YouTube videos, next best thing to being at the events.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
GRANT SIXTA
Hello, I am Grant Sixta. I live north of Ocheyedan, Iowa with my wife Stacey. We live on the farm that has been in the family since 1929 and farmed to this day with MM since 1941.
I am a board member of the Siouxland Collectors and have been involved in planning a MMCI winter show and cohosting a PGR winter show. I also enjoyed helping with the MMCI summer show in Albert City.
Stacey and I have attended several Minneapolis-Moline shows all over the U.S. through the years. We enjoy the shows, meeting with other MM collectors, and helping out whenever needed.
I believe it is important to stay involved with MM collectors and help promote the great Minneapolis-Moline legacy and the MMCI efforts to educate the next generation.
Thank you for your consideration.
JAY GROSKREUTZ
I grew up in Wells, Minnesota, and currently live in Minnesota Lake, Minnesota, where my passion for Minneapolis Moline tractors first began.
That passion was passed down to me from my grandfather, Arthur, and my father, Eugene, who both farmed with Moline tractors. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong interest in researching the history of Minneapolis Moline equipment, exploring different locations, and collecting memorabilia and tractors that help preserve this important part of agricultural history. This hobby occupies much of my spare time, as I enjoy keeping the tradition alive and sharing that history with others.
I have had the honor of serving on the MMCI Board previously and would be proud to serve again as a board member, supporting the continued growth and success of the organization. Meeting new people, building friendships, and traveling to various states for shows have been some of the most rewarding parts of my involvement.
Currently, I am employed as a Service Technician at John Deere, where I have worked for 39 years. My wife, Kim, shares in this journey with me, traveling together to both summer and winter shows. We are proud parents of two daughters and a son-in-law who also enjoys Moline tractors, continuing the tradition alongside us.
If reelected to the board, I am committed to continuing to share my knowledge, experience, and passion with others. I believe strongly in mentoring and engaging the next generation, helping to keep younger members interested, involved, and invested in the future of the club. Preserving the history while inspiring new enthusiasm is something I deeply value, and I look forward to contributing in any way I can.
Thank you for your consideration.
