Dear Members and Friends,
The MMCI winter show was held at Fair Oaks, Indiana, and was a great success. Attendees enjoyed a variety of exceptional farm tours, including the impressive Fair Oaks dairy and pork operations. The event saw excellent attendance throughout, with a particularly strong turnout at the banquet.
A highlight of the banquet was our guest speaker, Everett Hauert, who shared valuable
knowledge on Elwood front axles an informative and well-received presentation.
Congratulations to David Pittman on receiving the Minneapolis-Moline Collectors
Recognition Award, an honor that reflects his dedication to preserving the history and
legacy of our organization.
Several members also had the opportunity to visit Dan Shima at his retirement
community. Dan is doing well, enjoyed the visits, and recognized many familiar faces.
He celebrated his 90th birthday this past fall and remains our last living founding
member of the club, serving as a living connection to our organization’s rich history. If you would like to send a card or note to Dan Shima, he is located at:

Our next event will be the summer show taking place September 4–7, 2026, in
Edgerton, Wisconsin—we look forward to seeing everyone there.
Finally, please take a few minutes to read the autobiographies of the candidates running
for the two open board positions. Ballots will be arriving in your mailboxes in May. I
encourage everyone to participate and cast their vote!
